This is me and (some of) my kids!!!
I am a full-time mum who spent 10 years as child care worker.
Being a Mum to my four amazing children is exhausting
but very rewarding. I love to watch them grow and change.
I absolutely loved my job. Being a child care worker was just as rewarding. You are able to make a difference to the lives of so many children and their families. Although with four little ones I have spent the last year and a half at home full time. I didn't want to get too out of touch with the world of child care as I enjoyed it so much that I now spend my time creating templates and documentation for other centres.

I also
love to create, organise and make everything pretty. This is how My Adventures
in Child Care started. It is a place for me to share my ideas and resources
that help make my life easier (at work and sometimes at home).
Working
in child care is so much more then looking after the children. There is
programming, researching, reading, children's portfolios, observations,
organising special events, displaying artwork, maintain safe and secure play
spaces, and so much more. There is a lot of work that a lot of people probably
don't see or even realise we do.
So
hopefully my resources can help make your work a little easier and get you back
to playing with the kids quicker J
